caramel-hazelnut banana bread

what to do with overly ripe bananas? make banana bread of course!

i tried to make the icing per the recipe (which i got at safeway) but my attempt resulted in nothing more than a clumpy mess. am i missing something here? so for the photos i drizzled caramel right out of the jar onto the bread. just as yummy, trust me.
