The kitchen part of the tour I took at Hearst Castle was my favorite (no surprise there), though the Roman and Neptune pools were the most impressive I thought. The only issue I had was that the tours seem to be fairly fast-paced, leaving little time to take all the photos you want. It was a brief but fascinating glimpse into William Hearst's life and what it must have been like back then. Equally grand and breathtaking is the drive through Big Sur, an experience everyone should have if possible.
