Hearst Castle (San Simeon, CA) - Part 1

In 1919 William Randolph Hearst said to San Francisco architect Julia Morgan that he "...would like to build a little something" on the ranchland purchased by his father. Hearst Castle was born. These are little snippets from the Cottages and Kitchen Tour (the kitchen portion, and grounds, to be posted shortly).
